Miklós Komlós and István Komlós opened in 1931 in Nyíregyháza, Hungary, a small workshop of sculptural ceramics that soon became popular all over the country, alternating popular and civil scenes with elegant Deco themes and African-American taste. In addition, they produced numerous animals and scenes of expressionist taste with particular attention to hunting scenes and musicians. In 1934 they opened a second laboratory in Budapest in the VII district with the Fratelli Komlós Budapest brand. H 35 cm. Age 1935 – 40.
